BB2-Type Vertically Split Double Casing Pump

The BB2-Type pump is a horizontal, two-end-supported, radially-segmented, double volute, single-stage single-suction or double-suction impeller centrifugal pump. This pump type is mainly developed for centrifugal pumps for various devices in important positions with high temperature, low temperature, and high pressure. The inlet and outlet directions of the pump can be selected arbitrarily according to the requirements of the device's piping.

Features:

The pump casing is segmented along the vertical axis (radially segmented), with an inner and outer double-layer casing (outer cylinder + inner pump core).

The bearings are supported on both sides of the impeller, but the structure is more compact.

Advantages:

High pressure-bearing capacity (up to 10 MPa or more), suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.

Typical applications:

It is widely used in refining, petrochemicals, coal-to-oil, coal chemical industry, natural gas processing, seawater desalination, offshore drilling equipment, and other industries with high-temperature, low-temperature or high-pressure working conditions. It can convey corrosive or strongly corrosive media with solid particles, liquefied petroleum gas, and other flammable, explosive or toxic media. Typical applications include high-temperature tower bottom pumps such as flash bottom oil and regular bottom oil in refining plants, and semi-poor liquid pumps and rich methanol pumps in coal chemical plants.
