The solids removal units are the core functional part of the drilling mud system, responsible for removing solid particles, gas and other impurities from the drilling fluid, realizing the purification of drilling mud, maintaining the optimal performance of the mud, and protecting downstream drilling equipment from wear and damage.

This unit adopts a 5-stage purification process, covering a full range of solid particle separation from large drill cuttings to ultra-fine particles, and some equipment can be combined to improve purification efficiency and reduce operational costs.

All components work in seamless linkage to ensure high purification efficiency, with 30% higher processing capacity than standalone equipment.

Drilling Waste Treatment Systems


The drilling waste treatment system is an integrated complete set of equipment for drilling waste management, typically including high-frequency drying shale shakers, screw feeders or screw conveyors, skid-mounted cuttings dryers, decanter centrifuges with telescopic skids, and drilling cuttings tanks or mud tanks.
Leveraging our rich modular product portfolio, we build fully customized waste configuration solutions tailored to operational requirements. These solutions can effectively control the moisture content of drill cuttings in drilling mud (6%-10%), stabilize the liquid phase performance, and achieve the goal of zero-discharge dry treatment of drilling mud.

Oily Sludge Treatment Systems


Oily sludge is a stable suspended emulsion system composed of oil-in-water (O/W), water-in-oil (W/O), and suspended solids, with poor dehydration effect. The composition and physical properties of the sludge are affected by factors such as wastewater quality, treatment processes, and added chemicals.
Based on the 'oily sludge thermal desorption treatment scheme', CME designs and configures a complete set of integrated oily sludge treatment systems. It features flexible equipment selection, flexible configuration, low investment, and high output. The treatment system consists of the following types of equipment: oily sludge pretreatment equipment, oily sludge screening equipment, chemical dosing system, oil-water separation equipment, and water-sludge separation equipment.


Oily sludge Treatment Process

Step 1: Separate impurities such as stones, weeds, and tree roots from the oily sludge through sorting equipment.
Step 2: Utilize heating tanks, stirring equipment, and chemical dosing equipment. Based on the physical characteristic of different specific gravities of oil and water, fully separate water, oil, sediment, and other components through temperature control, chemical addition, and stirring.
Step 3: Achieve three-phase separation of water, oil, and sludge using oil-water/water-sludge separation equipment, realizing crude oil recovery, water reuse, and further treatment of water-sludge in the water-sludge treatment equipment.


Mud Station


A mud station refers to a centralized drilling mud treatment plant. It integrates a complete set of mud treatment equipment at a fixed site for centralized processing of drilling mud, including mud preparation, mixing, dilution, conditioning, storage, truck loading/unloading, agitation and circulation. The treated mud is then transported and supplied to various drilling sites via mud trucks or other transport equipment.
CME’s complete mud station typically consists of shale shakers, centrifuges, mud agitators, sand pumps, mud mixers, explosion-proof main control panels, and several mud tanks, unloading tanks and other equipment. In addition, zero-discharge mud treatment units can be integrated to enable the mud station to perform mud making, mud blending and drying functions.
According to actual on-site conditions, CME can design and customize complete mud stations with different configurations and specifications for customers.
